Wuffles was an extremely elderly wire-haired terrier, belonging to Lord Havelock s's fur was unkempt, and his teeth were broken. He had terrible halitosis, and spent much of his time sleeping deeply in a basket under Vetinari's desk, in the Oblong s was a very old-fashioned dog; he thought of Lord Vetinari as his God. Sharing wordless books is a terrific way to build important literacy skills, including listening skills, vocabulary, comprehension and an increased awareness of how stories are structured. And children love them — they can really pore over the pictures and create their own story in their own words. Wordless books can also be used in ELL classrooms and with struggling readers.

Mr Wuffles ignores all the toys people buy for him. He's not lazy, he's just very picky. Now Mr Wuffles has the perfect toy and he's ready to play. But it's not really a toy at all. It's something much more interesting 'Expertly imagined, composed, drawn and coloured, this is Wiesner at his best' - Kirkus (Starred Review). Based on the Paramount Picture- "Mr. Bug Goes To Town"- a story of a friendly community of humanized insects and their many adventures. Produced & directed by Max Fleischer. Bold, bright illustrations (no credit given). Book is very good+, illustrated boards- DJ is "just very good) with large chip on front top edge.

It's FOOD, We obviously at least need something to-go. No matter what though, [X] ride Wuffles into the sunset. Needs to may consider looking for a book about Wuffles for Everette, he has been an adequate mortal but hasn't proved worthy of pats, so possibly a book about keeping Wuffles extra-fluffy would do.   The book starts out with a view of earth from an astronaut’s perspective in space. Then we zoom in closer and closer, seeing the planet, the continents, a town, and finally a boy with a magnifying glass. Students love guessing what we will look at on the next page. This is a specifically great book for sequencing practice!
